Chin-Jie Melodie Liu 劉沁潔 is an American-born Taiwanese emerging artist/curator and writer based in Kamberri/Canberra, Australia.

Her interdisciplinary practice is informed by her heritage and focuses on contested histories and collective memory. She is interested in varying forms of creative collaboration as well as the use of text as visual material.  

Liu received a Master of Museum and Heritage Studies in 2021 from the Australian National University (ANU) and completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honours (First Class) in 2020. She studied at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in France in 2019 as part of her exchange semester. Liu also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the ANU with a major in French Culture and Language and minor in International Relations.

Liu is a 2024 Curationist Fellow and a participant in the National Gallery of Australia’s 2024 Young Writers Digital Residency.
